What started as a search for cleaner home fragrance quickly became a passion. But I didn’t want to make ordinary candles—I wanted to create something beautiful. That’s how my signature dessert candles came to life: handcrafted candles that look good enough to eat while filling your home with incredible fragrance.
As the business grew, so did the product line. Today, Syl’s Scents offers everything from Squeeze Wax Melts, Wax Melt Bouquets, Carpet Freshener, All Purpose Cleaner, and Mop Soap to a growing collection of home fragrance and cleaning products—all created with the same goal in mind: helping you enjoy a beautifully scented home while using as few unnecessary toxins as possible.
Before Syl’s Scents, I worked a corporate job that kept me away from home far more than I wanted. One day, I realized my greatest accomplishment wasn’t my career—it was my kids. As demand for my dessert candles and Squeeze Wax continued to grow, I took a leap of faith, left corporate America, and poured my heart into building Syl’s Scents. I still work part-time while growing this dream, but my ultimate goal is to make Syl’s Scents my full-time career and, one day, pass it on to my daughter.
